Who we are

This site is operated by Brigitte Riedl (Vienna, Austria). You can reach us at thebrigitterie@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you click a buy button, we ask for your name and email address before forwarding you to checkout. We use them to identify your order and to deliver your cookbook and bonus guide. We do not ask for a phone number.

We also receive technical data automatically: your IP address, browser user agent, approximate location (country, region, city) derived from your IP, and the page you came from.

Payments

Payments are processed by Payhip. We never see or store your card details. Payhip processes your data under its own privacy policy.

Advertising and cookies

We use the Meta (Facebook) Conversions API to measure the performance of our ads. No Facebook script runs in your browser: the events are sent from our own server. We set first-party cookies (_fbp, _fbc, sh_uid) to recognise your visit, and send Meta a hashed (irreversible) copy of your name, email and approximate location, along with your IP address and user agent.

Meta may use this data to attribute a purchase to an ad and to build audiences. You can opt out of interest-based advertising in your Meta ad settings.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data, but the tags it loads may set their own cookies and send data to Google. Google may process this data outside the EU.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your contact details to perform a contract with you (Art. 6(1) (b) GDPR). We process advertising and analytics data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where required.

How long we keep it

We keep order-related data for as long as required by Austrian tax and commercial law. Advertising identifiers expire according to Meta's own retention periods.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and request data portability. Email thebrigitterie@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
